Alliance and Leicester Commercial Bank: Rent payment service made more convenient

Extended payment network available to customers of St. Leger Homes of Doncaster

Leger Homes of Doncaster is piloting a new payment service through Alliance and Leicester Commercial Bank, which will almost double the number of outlets where tenants can make rent payments.

The new service, which is available immediately, means that tenants are able to pay their rent at any of the region's 186 outlets that display the payzone sign, in addition to the 199 Post Offices that currently accept payments.

The pilot service follows the announcement last June that Alliance and Leicester Commercial Bank, bill payment provider to St.

Leger Homes, and alphyra, which owns payzone, Europe's largest cash acceptance network, were to team up.

This new service for St.

Leger Homes will mean more convenience for tenants.

The network also offers extended accessibility as most of the payzone outlets have longer opening hours, including weekends, with some open 24/7.

It will also mean a greater choice of locations as the payzone network includes newsagents, convenience stores and petrol stations.
