Jeremy Claridge, Head of Specialist Mortgages at Alliance and Leicester says: "Yet again, we've launched some market-leading specialist deals".
"We've also been doing a lot of work with brokers to further improve our self-cert proposition to ensure we're clear on the information we require to service applications even more quickly".
"If brokers can provide details of an applicant's profession, and the declared income is reasonable we can give a quick decision." Jeremy Claridge continues: "This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to deliver great value and offer a wider choice of deals to those borrowers who earn a significant amount of bonus/commission, self-employed borrowers with this year's accounts that have yet to be made up, and those who earn income from multiple sources or whose income is not regular.".
