Alliance and Leicester demonstrates commitment to project finance sector
Bank appoints new Head of Global Infrastructure
Alliance and Leicester Commercial Bank is pleased to announce the further expansion of its Corporate and Structured Finance team based in London with the appointment of Andy Williams as Head of Global Infrastructure.
The role involves leading two well established teams specialising in project financing for a wide variety of infrastructure assets.
Andy joins Alliance and Leicester from Bank of Ireland where he was a Director of the bank's project finance team.
He has over 16 years' corporate banking experience and for the last 12 years has specialised in the infrastructure sector at Bank of Ireland and Lloyds TSB.
He is responsible for further expanding Alliance and Leicester's involvement in the PFI and Infrastructure Project Finance sectors, in line with the bank's growth strategy.
Additional experienced originators and transactors will be recruited to join the bank's existing nine specialist bankers in this area.
