Alliance and Leicester offers new premier customers bonus rate of 6% for PlusSaver account

?5 free mobile banking credit Alliance and Leicester is welcoming new current account holders with an introductory interest rate of 6.00% gross pa/AER payable on its PlusSaver account until December 2008.

PlusSaver is a savings account which is set up automatically when customers open either a Premier, Premier 21 or Premier Direct current account.

This 'Welcome bonus' offer of 0.75% above the standard rate of 5.25%, will apply to balances up to ?50,000 and applies to Premier accounts opened by the end of this year.

Customers who register to use Alliance and Leicester's mobile banking via Internet Banking also receive a ?5 credit to their current account.

Mobile banking is currently free until the end of the year, and allows customers access to their finances 24 hours a day, wherever they are in the world.
