Alliance and Leicester recruits for senior structured finance role
Alliance and Leicester Commercial Bank is pleased to announce the further expansion of its Corporate and Structured Finance team based in London with the appointment of Nigel McInerny.
Nigel's new role involves marketing and developing the growing number of structured finance deals the bank is transacting as well as managing a portfolio of customers.
Nigel joins Alliance and Leicester from Babcock and Brown Limited where he was Senior Executive for Shipping and UK Leasing.
Prior to this, Nigel headed New Boston Partners Limited's (a BTMU subsidiary) UK lease advisory activities for six years.
He brings over 25 years' corporate banking experience to his new role and will report to Geoff Faulkner, Head of Structured Finance.Chris Jones, Director of Corporate and Structured Finance at Alliance and Leicester said: "I am delighted to welcome Nigel to Alliance and Leicester at an exciting time for the bank as we continue to grow our Corporate Banking franchise.

"Being an Accountant - and given how important the accounting consequences of structures has become for both the bank and its clients - I think that I will be able to add another dimension to our products moving forward but, more generally, I am keen to become fully involved in the marketing and closing of Structured Finance transactions and playing my part in the continued success of the team.".
