Allianz Commercial and RoSPA advise 8000 policymakers in first year

Allianz Commercial and RoSPA have recently marked the one year anniversary

of their exclusive partnership promoting the importance of effective risk management for companies operating a fleet of vehicles.

In the past year the joint venture has provided solutions and advice for managing occupational road risks to over 8000 drivers through a range of RoSPA services provided at preferential rates.

Commenting on the partnership, Jon Dye, commercial motor manager, Allianz Commercial, said: "As a responsible insurer, we are dedicated to providing advice and guidance designed to help brokers and customers manage and control risk more effectively.

Paul Kuske, managing director of Commercial Tyres and Autokwik, is one client who has profited from the initiative, he comments: "Our area manager obtained a 'Gold' award on a RoSPA driving course and now all drivers are assessed and taken for additional training where needed, this has already resulted in a huge reduction in accidents and reported incidents." In addition to the service, Allianz Commercial and RoSPA have also held a series of breakfast clubs educating brokers and clients about the importance of effective risk management.

Topics have included the effects of the Corporate Manslaughter and Homicide Act 2007 on businesses and how the services that RoSPA provides can help them achieve compliance.
