Barclays Wealth completes hat-trick at PPR awards

Barclays Wealth picked up a hat-trick of awards at the Protected Product Review Structured Products Awards 2009.

At a ceremony held in London on 28 October, the business won top prize in the Best Educational Campaign category for the second year running as well as picking up the award for Best Offshore Product for its FTSE Generator Bond - a six-year investment offering full capital protection and a potential kick-out form the third year onwards.

Barclays Wealth director, Colin Dickie, also won the Outstanding Contribution to the Market award.

In addition to the above wins, Barclays Wealth was also highly commended in the Best Service to IFAs sector and Best Innovative Structure category for its Emerging Markets Optimiser.

Commenting, Colin Dickie said: "For the business to be recognised across such a range categories is a great achievement and something the team are rightly proud of.

"To have won the education award for a second consecutive year is particularly pleasing.
