Local Bupa care home celebrates huge two
million pounds extension
Dartford care home, Priory Mews, is celebrating a ?2,112,000 extension, thanks to Bupa, the UK's largest owner and operator of care homes.

Deputy Mayor Cllr J Rickwood will be helping residents, relatives and staff mark the new look at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday 18 June 2008, when the results of the major extension will be revealed.
The home now offers rooms for an extra 29 residents across three houses, Woodford, Cressenor and Marchall.
The very latest entertainment technology, including plasma TVs in bedrooms has also been installed for residents to enjoy.
The new bedrooms at the home have en-suite facilities, there is a new modern communal area with, new carpets, curtains and furniture added in the refurbished lounges.
The new look extension is part of Bupa's drive to improve standards in the care home sector for the benefit of older people, and is already proving a real hit with the residents of Priory Mews.
The resident's in other areas of the home are also looking forward to a refurbishment of their own, which will begin later on this year.
Home manager Rachel Gilbert said: "I am really pleased that many of our residents were able to choose the colour schemes for the new bedrooms.
We are proud to celebrate this brand-new look and with summer here we are also looking forward to the completion of the courtyard sensory garden." Rachel and her team will be joined by local health professionals and the deputy mayor in celebrating the home's makeover alongside a ribbon-cutting ceremony, musical entertainment and a buffet.
Open days are also planned for the local community to visit Priory Mews throughout the summer.
