Update from Chelsea Building Society
Chelsea Building Society yesterday made adjustments to its intermediary product range
in order to maintain service standards for its intermediary channel following an increase in the number of applications from brokers.
The direct product range available through the branch network and direct mortgage sales department remain unaffected.
Intermediaries will be able to access a new product range from 9am on Friday 28 March 2008.
Communication of the new product details will be issued via the usual channels shortly.
Jeremy Hicks, divisional director communications at Chelsea said, "Over the last few weeks we have experienced a large increase in business levels largely as lenders are tightening their criteria.
We have made the decision to temporarily withdraw our mortgage range for intermediaries, so that service levels are maintained.".
