Cicero announces Retail Fund Platform of the Year Award 2008
At its International Platform Conference in February this year, Cicero Consulting will be announcing the winner of its Retail Fund Platform of the Year Award 2008.
This award will be voted for by all delegates and speakers at the event.
These represent both the pioneers and new entrants to the platform space with participation from Standard Life, Cofunds, Skandia, AXA and Bankhall, amongst others.
Other voters will include asset managers, life and pension firms, IFAs and banks.
The award will be presented by the conference chair, Holly Mackay of HM Consulting, who comments, "The platform market continued to develop apace in 2007 with assets exceeding £83 billion at the close of the year.
2008 will see both continued development and new launches and conservative estimates from Lipper FERI place retail platform assets at £142bn by 2010." The FSA's Director of Retail Policy, Dan Waters, will also be presenting a keynote address at the conference on the progress and findings of the 07/2 platform discussion paper, which is certain to shape future platform development in the UK.
