Defaqto's Chris Johnston to retire after
more than 10 years

Chris Johnston, PR manager at Defaqto, is to retire today after working for the financial research company for more than 10 years.

Chris joined Defaqto in 1997 as a Life and Protection Researcher, following a move from Black Horse Financial Services where he was a financial adviser Initially Chris's work revolved around Financial Services Authority recognised funds before he moved on to become Marketing manager, and finally PR manager

Chris says: "The awareness of Defaqto among the Financial Services industry has increased greatly over the past few years, and I'd like to think I'd played a small part in this.

The challenge going forward is to raise the awareness among the consumers, which will be in the hands of my successors." Kenn Herskind, Chief Executive at Defaqto, says: "For the past 10 years Chris has been an invaluable member of the team at Defaqto, and has played a significant part in the growing success of the company.

All of us would like to thank Chris for his efforts over the past decade and wish him the very best for a long and happy retirement." Chris will be replaced by Luci Mylward who has been at the company for two years.

Luci will be joined by Chloe Cottam, PR executive, as part of the growing in-house PR team at Defaqto.
