Ilario di Bon appointed as Head of
Global Equities

Fidelity International has today announced the appointment of Ilario Di Bon as Head of Global Equities.

llario is expected to take up his new post in May 2008 and will report to Chief Investment Officer, Nicky Richards In this newly created role, based in London, Ilario will lead the Global Equity Investment team which includes the Sector, US and Global Emerging Market equity teams

He will also have responsibility for the further development of Fidelity's institutional global equity product range.

Ilario has ten years' investment experience.

He joins Fidelity from UBS Global Asset Management where he was lead portfolio manager on a number of global equity portfolios.

During his eight year tenure at UBS he was also Head of Global Equity Research and spent three years in Japan, latterly as Head of Japanese Equities.

Prior to joining UBS he also worked for Teltronix in London, Electrolux and Benetton in Italy.

Commenting on his appointment Nicky Richards said: "I am delighted that we have recruited Ilario.

His skills both in research and as a portfolio manager make him ideally suited to take on the responsibility for leading the development of our global equity investment capabilities for clients in Europe and Asia.

The Fidelity Global Focus and Global Special Situations funds have excellent performance.

Our next step is to build on the range of global and US equity strategies we manage from London." FIL Limited ('FIL') and its subsidiary companies serve the major markets of the world by providing investment products and services to individuals and institutional investors outside the US.

The FIL Organisation manages a total of £150.9 billion of assets.
