Insight Investment monthly income fund receives 'AA' rating from Standard and Poor's
The Insight Investment Monthly Income Fund has achieved an 'AA' Fund Management rating by Standard and Poor's Fund Services,
in recognition of its clear purpose, experienced team and disciplined process.
The Insight Investment Monthly Income Fund, managed by Tim Rees, has solid investment performance returning 4.83% against the industry median 3.55% over the past year.* The fund aims to provide a high and increasing monthly income together with long-term capital growth by investing primarily in shares of UK companies and sterling denominated fixed interest securities.
Although not fixed, the fund usually invests around 70% in a diversified portfolio of UK shares, and 30% in government bonds.
Gordon Phillips, head of retail at Insight Investment, said, "In upgrading the Monthly Income Fund to an AA rating, S and P recognise the fund's sustained performance under Tim Rees' management.
