Customers vote MandS Money top for life insurance and credit cards

Marks and Spencer Money has come top in the Your Money Direct Awards 2007 for offering best value and service in the following two categories:

Best Life Insurance Provider.

Best Credit Card Provider for the second year running.

MandS Money launched its new life insurance policy last year with the aim of being one of the best value life insurers on the market with premiums from just £5 per month.

The judges were particularly impressed with the product and the high level of service, described as "qualities that characterise the entire operation of MandS Money".

Cover is provided by HSBC Life and is designed to be straightforward, with no complicated forms to fill in and medically- trained professionals to take customers through their application.

MandS Money's and MORE Credit Card was described as having a significant presence in the market and making a big impact on consumers.

The card was praised for its benefits including 0% interest on shopping until the end of January 2008.

The judges were also highly impressed with the call centre, citing speed of answer and friendly professionalism on the part of staff.
