Newcastle appoints new Corporate Communications Manager
Newcastle Building Society has appointed Nicola Green as Corporate Communications Manager within its marketing department.
In his new role, John will advise on new and existing pension schemes.
The service will benefit customers looking to retire in the near future who require details of the options available to them, as well as those requiring a review of their existing retirement plans.
John will work across all branches and, ultimately, grow and develop the pensions department to include more qualified staff.
John has many years' experience in the financial services industry, including 12 years spent as IFA for a number of medium-sized firms.
Prior to joining Newcastle, John was a Senior Pensions Consultant and also spent 15 years at Scottish Widows.

"I am very happy to welcome John to Newcastle Building Society.
He has a high level of experience and expertise to offer professional advice on all pensions products, which we feel will benefit our clients both now and in the future." John Wilson said: "I chose to join Newcastle Building Society because I see it as a large and growing organisation, as well as a mutual, which greatly appeals to me.
"I believe there is a lack of consumer confidence and advice on pensions, which needs to change.
People don't really know where to turn and many don't review their pensions on a regular basis.
In addition, most people are not aware of the options open to them at the time leading up to their retirement.
I believe the addition of pension advice to Newcastle's portfolio is a positive step to providing trusted advice to address this.".
