Scottish Widows Bank Launches New Text Messaging Service for Mortgage Customers
Scottish Widows Bank has launched a free text messaging service designed to keep customers and financial advisers up-to-date on the progress of their mortgage application.
Customers and advisers will be sent updates directly to their mobile phone at key stages of the application process.
Amanda Docherty, communications manager at Scottish Widows Bank, comments: "Buying a home can be a stressful experience and customers want to be kept up-to-date on developments with their mortgage application as soon as they happen".
"Our new text messaging service will offer customers and their financial adviser an additional and convenient channel for receiving updates." "The text messaging service is initially being run in conjunction with new mortgage applications, but we will be monitoring its success and will consider further expansion into other areas of the business.".
