Scottish Widows appoints New Director - employee benefits and direct distribution
Scottish Widows has appointed Andy Barton as Director - Employee Benefits and Direct Distribution with effect from June
The role will give Andy responsibility for setting up a brand new business channel, focused on large corporates and their advisors and Employee benefits Consultants.
He will also be responsible for Scottish Widows Direct Distribution.
He reports to Andy Briggs, Managing Director, Marketing and Distribution.
Andy joins from Aviva PLC where he was Director of Corporate Benefits - Norwich Union.
Prior to that, he was Head of the Insurance Practice at Huntswood Consulting and was Business Development Director -B2B for Prudential.
A key aspect of the new role will involve building Scottish Widows presence in the large corporate marketplace and developing our worksite marketing capability.

He has a strong track record and has demonstrated his success in distribution, strategy and proposition development at senior level.
