Standard Life Chairman Gerry Grimstone appointed as 'India Champion'
Please find attached an announcement made today by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI).
The announcement includes the news that Standard Life Chairman, Gerry Grimstone, has been appointed as the UK financial services sector 'India Champion' by the UKTI.
In his role as 'India Champion' for UK financial services Gerry will represent the broad interests of the UK financial services sector in these countries by: Advising on India interests at the Financial Services Sector Advisory Board.
Accompanying ministerial and other VIP visitors on visits to India, as a senior representatives of the UK's financial services sector.
Receiving high level guests from India to the UK as the representative of the UK's financial services sector.
Gerry Grimstone also sits on the Board of HDFC Standard Life, which is Standard Life's joint venture life assurance business in India.
