Standard Life appoints Commercial Director of Barclays Financial Planning as Distribution Director

Standard Life Assurance Limited has announced the appointment of Stephen Ingledew as Distribution Strategy Director, with effect from 01 November 2007.

Stephen will be responsible for developing Standard Life's distribution capacity and capability and, in particular, will focus on the development and delivery of strategic distribution deals.

This is a new role within the company, reporting to Paul Matthews.

He has worked in financial services for over twenty years in various senior management roles for large IFA groups and distributors.
