Standard Life announce improved
Commission Service on the adviserzone

Standard Life is pleased to announce a series of improvements to the Commission Service section on adviserzone.

The changes have been developed in conjunction with advisers, following online research, in order to ensure the Commission Service is easy to use and meets their needs Initial access to Commission Services now offers advisers the choice from a number of options

They can check on commission paid or commission due for a specific policy or agency code as well as having access to monthly statements.

In addition the improved service can display commission information in a spreadsheet that advisers can easily download onto their own back office systems.

Standard Life has made it easier for advisers to access the Commission Services as they are now registered automatically when they complete the standard online registration process for the range of secure services available through adviserzone.

The changes have been made in response to recent online research conducted by Standard Life which revealed two-thirds of advisers want to track their commission electronically in the future.Ross Dunlop, Sales E-commerce Manager, said:"Our research shows that advisers are keener to use e-commission than ever before.

We have seen an increase in the usage of Commission Services on the adviserzone as well as an increase in the number of adviser firms that are receiving electronic commission statements direct to their Client Relationship Management system.

"I believe we are on the verge of a step change in how advisers receive commission statements and how they use technology to reconcile those statements.".
