askTECH heralded a success!

askTECH, Standard Life's online technical support facility has seen a sharp increase in usage - from 1,797 hits in September 2006 to 7,336 hits in October 2007.

That's a 300% increase in hits! Feedback from advisers saw askTECH move from a standalone tool to integration within Techzone in June 2007 Now, all technical information advisers need is stored in one place with both services available through www.adviserzone.com

Ross Dunlop, Sales Technology Manager said: "askTECH is a fantastic service which is as simple and easy to use as an internet search engine.

It gives an automatic answer to hundreds of technical queries advisers can ask.

" Advisers can search by product, category (for example Tax and Legal) or by asking a generic question that does not need to be Standard Life specific.

The content is fully compliant and updated regularly so advisers can have the confidence to use the material for client meetings and in reports'.

"The beauty of askTECH is that the service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week so that advisers can find the answer to the question they want at the time they need it." askTECH was launched with 250 questions in November 2005 increasing to 650 questions in November 2006.

The site now has a total 925 questions that can be updated regularly.
