SLI appoints Colin Walklin as Finance
Director

Standard Life Investments, the global fund manager, has today strengthened its board with the appointment of Colin Walklin to the newly-created position of Finance Director.*

Colin was previously Chief Financial Officer at Barclaycard.Reporting directly to Keith Skeoch, Chief Executive Officer, Colin will be responsible for all financial functions within Standard Life Investments This appointment follows an extensive search and selection process.Commenting on the appointment, Keith Skeoch said: "Colin's appointment marks a milestone in the evolution of Standard Life Investments

Since our launch in 1998, we have grown from £62bn to over £140bn in assets under management.

In that time we have moved from being a UK-focused investment house to one that attracts revenue from Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
