Standard Life Investments bond funds shine at Lipper Awards

The performance of leading global investor, Standard Life Investments' bond range has been recognised by winning two prestigious Lipper Fund Awards.

Standard Life Investments won the 'Bond Pound Sterling - High Yield' category for the consistently strong risk-adjusted performance of its Higher Income Fund over a five year period and the Hong Kong based Lipper Award of the 'Best Bond Group' category for the performance of its SICAV bond fund range over a three year period.

Award ceremonies took place in London and Hong Kong respectively.

Standard Life Investments' Higher Income Fund, managed by Erlend Lochen, has produced top quartile performance over six months, one and three years and has been top decile over five years with a 4.4% return to investors over the five year period versus the sector average of -6%.

Standard Life Investments' offers Asian based investors a range of seven SICAV bond funds.

The Global Bond SICAV has returned top decile performance over three and six months, one, two and three years and an overall return of 29.8% to investors versus the sector average of 10.95%.

Both the European Corporate Bond and European High Yield Bond SICAVs have returned top quartile performance over three and six months, two and three years.
